A Fun (And Funny) Game
While this should be no surprise to anyone who has played past Pangea games, humor once again plays a large role in Otto Matic. Artist and level design Duncan Knarr considers this a crucial element of the game: [Humor is] extremely important to me. Although I like other genres, I sometimes get tired of serious games that come across too heavy-handed. If you look at even the most serious movies, there are always some humorous elements thrown in to make them more human. I think game designers could learn from that.
Skiing Otto style.
So if your favorite kind of game is one that has its tongue firmly planted
in its cheek and is 100% fun, go buy Otto Matic, load it on your
Mac, and take on the alien hordes. To really get in the spirit, you might want to have Santa Claus Conquers the Martians playing on your TV in the background.

Around we go.
Heres a partial list of the creatures in the game:
Re-animated corn, onions, tomatoes, and tractors on the farm planet
Slime creatures on the slime planet
Mutant aliens and robots
Big-headed brain aliens
Giant lizards and insects
Killer clowns
Flying fish
Radioactive snake pods
Boss monsters including a flame monster, an ice monster and a giant pitcher plant
Heres a partial list of the weapons Otto can use to deal with the alien
rabble:
A stun laser that puts enemies to sleep
A freeze gun that will allow you to freeze enemies, then smash them to bits. Note: this is not always the best approach!
A flame gun for melting monsters made of ice
A one-use supernova charge that zaps anyone in range
Heat Seeking Flares
And a whole lot more!
