“I love OS X because, if the game crashes, it doesn’t take the OS with it,” he says, referring to the protected memory that keeps applications from interfering with each other and forcing you to restart your Mac. An action and strategy fan, Sohal loves games like Age of Empires III and Heroes of Might and Magic V.

Sohal adds that the selection of games at the Apple Retail Store is “the best I have seen for Macintoshes anywhere.”

In fact, first-time gamer Andrew Lucas was clutching a Mac OS X game when we bumped into him in on of the software aisles of the store. A software engineer, Lucas is another fan of Mac OS X, which his company uses extensively.

“We were so pleased with the way [our adoption of Mac OS X] was going,” he relates, “I thought I would buy a game for it.”

He adds “I’ve been very impressed with the speed of OS X.”
