Wreck Room Arcade
There’s a lot to do in the Monsters, Inc. “Wreck” Room:
Eight Ball Chaos: Billiards with a twist. As Sulley offers advice and encouragement, you try to shoot the red balls into the red pockets, the blue balls into the blue pockets, and sink the black ball last. As if that wasn’t hard enough, there are bumpers that affect the balls and multiple pool table layouts to contend with.
Bowling for Screams: Mike guides you through this activity, in which you guide your ball around the obstacles in each bowling lane. Grab a power-up before you reach the pins and hope for a strike.
Monster Tag: This one is tricky. You’re a member of the Child Detection Agency (CDA), and you use a seesaw to propel you and your partner into the air, where you grab socks, pacifiers, and other child items.
Monster Mania: This is the bonus game that’s unlocked once the first three are loaded. In this one, you play a monster who pokes his head in windows and tries to collect as many screams as possible before time runs out. Watch out for wandering babies and guard dogs.
Scream Team Training
If you’d rather try for the title of Top Scarer, you have to master these activities in Scream Team Training:
Mail Room: Grab the mail off the conveyor belt and place it in the proper slots before 9 AM.
Paperwork: Roz, the Monsters, Inc. receptionist, is a stickler for this one. You must place the colored paper in the order that matches the colored dots on each folder. One wrong move and you’ll hear from Roz.
Day Care Center: How do you keep baby monsters happy? Match them up with the right toys.
Lunch Room: Every monster wants something different to eat for lunch. Place the correct food items on each tray as it arrives with a lunch order.
Parking Lot: Every car must be in its parking spot before 9 AM, so don’t dawdle.
Door Vault: Boo is somewhere in the door storage area, and Sulley must find her before Randall does. Guide him to victory.
Scream Collection: Make sure the screams and laughs coming down the tubes fall into the proper canisters.
Door Transport: Different doors lead into different countries. Sulley will help you put the doors in the right places.
Canister Storage Room: Randall’s job is to toss full canisters to you. Your job is to make room by matching up similar canisters so that they disappear.
Try Out Room: The big one. Wannabe Scarers must move across a dark bedroom without waking the sleeping child.
