It’s been a tough year for your Sims. Heading into the fall and winter, they’ve had to contend with Mom turning into a Plant Sim and neglecting basic household needs. Then Dad’s pet store teetered on the brink of failure, and Junior almost flunked out of college. Little Sis tried her best in school, but the distractions proved too much at times.

The Sims 2 Happy Holiday Stuff

That’s when you access Buy Mode and decide that it’s time for your Sims to enjoy the holidays and forget about their troubles for a while. Let’s see: a holiday wreath on the door looks nice. A Touch of Autumn Cornucopia adds a splash of harvest season fun to any kitchen. And a gingerbread house is just the thing for the dining room table.

A Sacred Star gives a ray of hope to any living room wall, while Funky the Snowman plays festive music that gets the whole family in the groove. We bet the Magic Mistletoe will put a holiday spark in Mom and Dad’s ever-souring romance. And don’t forget about the fun his-and-hers holiday pajamas, or the Mr. And Mrs. Claus costumes for entertaining the neighbors’ kids.

Everything You Need For a Happy Holiday

When you’re done, put the Huge Tree Extravaganza — a tribute to Rio’s famous majestic Christmas tree — in the front yard and select jolly wallpaper for the family room, something that will complement the Christmas tree you put there too. On the table next to the tree, place a Kwanzaa Kinara and a Chanukah Menorah to make Sims of different religious backgrounds feel welcome.

Finally, no holiday celebration would be complete without a few noisemakers, and DinCo offers just the thing with their Box o’ Blasts, Sparks ‘n’ Stuff, and Box a’ Noise fireworks packages. DinCo Crackers give your Sims some indoor firecracker fun, while the Fountain of Fiery Jubilations caps off the evening with a sparkling finale.

Like Family Fun Stuff and Glamour Life Stuff, Happy Holiday Stuff features over 60 new items for your Sims to enjoy. Whether you want to celebrate Halloween, Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, Thanksgiving, or any other holiday, you’ll find something here to help your Sims do just that. Combine this stuff with the Seasons expansion pack to ensure the weather complements that holiday feel.
