What do you get the Sim who has everything? Mom has achieved her lifetime wish of professional sports superstar. Dad worked his way up from Latrine Cleaner to Top Gun in the military. The kids are doing well in school, and the neighbors are friendly. In fact, most people in Sunset Valley like your Sim family.

The Sims 3: High-End Loft Stuff

So now it’s time to put some of those hard-earned Simoleons toward a few luxury items. How about the stylish Pythagoras Corner Bathtub? Not only will it impress math-minded Sims, but it also offers pure opulence for a Sim needing a leisurely soak after a hard day at work. Or perhaps they’ll want to indulge after a workout on their high-end Slimline Axursize treadmill, the sleekest exercise machine of its type on the market.

Personal Pleasure

Nothing beats relaxing in a well-furnished living room after a tough day at the Mad Scientist lab, and no Sim can go wrong with the aptly-named Cradle of Civilization, billed as “the most comfortable sofa in the entire world.” That’s right, not just in Sunset Valley or in Sim City: the entire world. Don’t be surprised if the neighbors start feeling a little jealous.

And you might have to start coming up with excuses for why they can’t drop by daily after they see your Sims’ MedeaMedia wall-mounted flat-screen TV, especially if it’s connected to a GUGA JoyToy 3 videogame console. Nothing beats an intense game of DeathSaga or Blood Buckets 7 in all its high-definition glory — hook up a BeoWuuf Stack sound system and prepare for your Sims’ ears to bleed too.

When your Sims are ready for a little “me time,” you can’t go wrong with a Retro Metro Chair parked next to a FormFunk B-Shelf (a perfect companion for a FormFunk G-Shelf, of course). Add Pambo Psimcasso’s famous “Scenic Circuits” abstract art piece — or perhaps French artiste Jerome’s “Rue de Rodiek,” which depicts his early years as a poor farm boy — to complete the room’s serene ambience.

All That and More

We’ve just scratched the surface of the dozens of objects available in High-End Loft Stuff. You’ll even find enough trendy apparel to give Fashion Week a run for its money. And don’t forget to check out the three items included to celebrate the tenth anniversary of The Sims’ original release: the heart-shaped vibrating bed, the electric guitar, and the aquarium. The trio were popular parts of the first two games, and now they’re back for the third installment in the enduring Sims series.

What will make your Sims happy? No matter who they are, they’ll find something to give them an uplifting moodlet or two. Click on Buy mode and start sifting through the catalog. Have fun.
